Kevin Kaley

Kevin worked in tourism planning for over 25 years, providing services to a wide range of public and private sector organisations. These services have involved him in strategic planning, feasibility studies, marketing and brand strategy development, market and financial appraisals, business planning and market research.

Prior to working as a consultant, Kevin enjoyed a career in Hospitality Management before moving to a career in tourism economic development with Scottish Enterprise, the economic development agency for Scotland. He has worked with museums, attractions and heritage sites, providing strategies and development plans. In recent times, much of this work has been developing commercial income-generating strategies for museums and trusts and preparing business plans for heritage organisations.

Kevin is a specialist in National Lottery Heritage Fund projects and has helped clients generate around £50M from the fund. Key successes have been Hopetown Darlington (£3.2M award), the David Livingstone Centre (£6.86M award) and Ripon Museums Trust (£2.57M award).
